It's official. We have paid our first grants.

After months of building the framework -- the application forms, the scoring matrix, the partnership agreements, the assessment panels -- actual money has reached actual families. Children are attending Forest School because of this foundation. That sentence still gives us goosebumps.

Team Nature Nomads

Meanwhile, our trustee Michelle and her husband Tom have decided that running a normal race isn't enough. They're taking on an Ultra Marathon in the Lake District this June, raising money for the foundation as Team Nature Nomads.

Even better, Tom's employer has agreed to match fund whatever they raise. Every pound sponsored becomes two pounds for children who need Forest School.

We also launched our website this month and set up proper email addresses, so if you've been trying to get in touch, it's now much easier. We're a real charity with a real website and everything.

(We still run entirely on volunteered time, kitchen table meetings, and an unreasonable amount of optimism. But we're getting there.)
